Indonesian Naval Academy Opens Applications for Cadets


The Indonesian Navy Academy has opened applications for cadets for training as naval officers. The academy’s information center said here on Monday the registration has been opened from April 1 to 22, 2011.
Applicants need to meet several conditions including being Indonesian citizen, believe in God, and loyal to the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
Other conditions are physically and mentally healthy, good conduct, still have the right for becoming member of the navy, consent from parents, not more than 21 years old, and permission from the head of one’s government/private agency from those already having a permanent job.
Applicants also must have higher secondary school certificates with marks not less than 6.50 and age 18 to 22. Not less than 165 centimeters in height and some other conditions.
